The season is starting to wind down with only 2 more weeks of regular season FCFFL action. The Swami hit gold last week going 14-2 for the week which puts the overall record to 56-30 (65%). This week`s games have huge playoff implications:

-Games of the Week-
A League:
-Sharks vs. Fairfax Force: The A League lacks some big games this week, but here is a rematch from earlier this season when Fairfax Force pulled a 1pt upset over the Sharks. Since then, Fairfax Force has fallen off, while the Sharks gone back to playing "Sharks Football". Look for this one to be another close battle, but the Sharks will get the revenge.
B+:
- Grayhounds vs. Helltown Rosebuds: It`s hard to know just how good Helltown is (since they don`t post their scores), but we know how good the Grayhounds are. Pound for pound they might be the most athletic team in the division. Their offense will prove to be too much against a real good Helltown defense.
B League:
-Andes Alehouse vs. Chuds: A close 2nd here is Chuds vs. Blazers but I have to go with the top 2 teams as the Game of the Week. This is my upset special for the week as many think the Chuds will rival the 72` Dolphins. I think there is a chance that the Chuds will be tired and sore after playing a good Blazers team the night before. I`ve got Andes Alehouse sneaking a close win here, but either way it should be a close game down to the wire.

Spalding is too old and slow to beat Eagles and Grayhounds offense is not too much for anyone. Buds in the "upset".
Also, to say that the Chuds will be tired or sore after playing the Blazers is just laughable. I don`t even think that will be much of a game.

The Chuds will have a tough time defending Andes spread offense. Andes QB plays smart and is quick. Chuds need to contain and pressure him to have a chance.
Andes 31-21 over Chuds.

Chuds will need 8 guys that can defend Andes Spread O, 5,6,7 guys won`t get it done. If not the QB will make them pay.
However, Ande`s do come light in numbers and it reflects in their defense and thats not good when facing a team that can drop 28+ in 60mins. No question the best two O`s will be going at it tonight.
I`ll take Ande`s 28-24.

jesus, we fu*king lost the game. it`s over...i don`t know why people argue over what happened or how it happened or why it happened. IT HAPPENED...and there`s a score to reflect that and a win loss column to glorify that. and it shows. i hope it`s not the chuds discussing this as we shoulda moved on by now.

good post chud. every close game i`ve ever played in comes down to a couple of plays either way. Andes played great against us. We were able to come back against you, and tonight you were able to come back against Andes. I usually hate watching games I`m not in, but def. a great game tonight, seeing it go back and forth. Good luck and hopefully we`ll see each other again. Oh and the kicker for Andes is an absolute mule, 52 yard field goal.
