No we should have just added 5 minutes a half with option of overtime. I hope the lights don`t go out in these long games. I hope the refs can last for 70 minutes too.

Our coach went to the meeting they are adding 5 minutes to each half not 10 that`s why its 70 minutes not 60.

Just played our game and the halves were 25 mins long. The game went by just as quick.

I think you guys are misunderstanding the "70 minute game" idea. The actual game clock isn`t 70 minutes, 70 minutes is the slot given to each team for each game. Just like last year games were given a 60 minute slot, but the actual game clock was 40 minutes (2 - 20 minute halves).

Why is it when I get out of my car at 9 to play at 9:10 when I get back in the car after the game it is 9:50. Talk about speeding up the clock.

To coach, you must have a broken clock or something. i can see maybe your game not being as long as it should be, but there is no way they shorted you 30 mins..we played at 9:10 last night and when i was walking off the field it was around 10:15 or 10:20...fix your clock...haha

I will have to get the clock fixed in my chevy nova. But the halves have been way to short in the past. We use to only have 2 posessions per half at greenbrier.

I remember several times being backin my car at Wakefield in under one hour. TH en I would find the ref in the b room looking under the stalls!
