I`m going to try and get into A/B league. Depends on whether the league will let us. I think new teams have to start at the C level though. Plus we`ve never played together. I`m looking for guys who want to win championships at the A level, where we start doesn`t matter. If you want to play let me know?

Mainly defence. Looking for DL guys who want to put HEAVY preasure( blitz, blitz, blitz )on opposing team`s QB. Also guys with speed, good hands, and can cover the other team`s WRs in tight man coverage. I have a strong core group already, but looking to add a couple more dedicated players.

Coach/Player, sounds like from you previous posts your team is weak. 1)New players that have never played together, 2) No DL or cover guys and you want to start in B or A? 3)You have been recruiting misfits from the message board. Take good advice start in C. See if you can win that Championship before going after a A title. No need to waste your money that way.

I am looking to play on a team during the weeknights. My other team plans to play on Sunday mornings in the fall and I was looking to do both. If you do have open tryouts then please post it somewhere as I may like to come and check this new team out and maybe make a switch. I am not a lineman.

Top end talent often = prima donnas that dont want to practice = not worth the hastle. The best teams dont always have the best players, they are the best teams. I know that sounds trite, but its true. I have a core of outstanding, dedicated players...and then a bunch of guys that drive me to drink ; )) And I guarantee you, my guys could play for anyone in the league but the "powerhouse teams" are looking for 1-2 guys, not 6-7.

You cant have any weak links, but the teamwork trumps talent every time. This is a lesson too many teams are too slow to learn. So I can empathize with a "core" wanting to merge with other dedicated players! Good luck fellah.
