subject: "Best offense is good defense"

Any coincidence to the fact that the top teams in each A and B division have superior defenses. CCR and Goin Deep both have the top defenses (min 6 games played) in A and B and are undefeated. The huh? stat of the day is Raw allowing less than 3 per game, pitching 4 shutouts but has lost two games? Figure that one out, has anyone seen their games to explain? The stats in ours and B leagues translate into wins, C does defy logic.

With 4 shut outs and giving up less than three points a game, That translates to best D in C league. In the two loses they manage to score only 6 points. Offense seems to struggle. But they did handle the Firehouse in a solid 21-7 win, PLus they avg two scores a game. Seems when the O plays with the D they win.

To answer your question: We lost by 6 and were shut out the one game and the other loss was 7-6. The Firehouse were the only team that scored with a sustained drive down the field, the other two scores were broken coverages and good plays by the other team that led to a big play. The Noles and JJ`s can confirm that, the Noles had a 30+ yard pass putting them inside the 5 yard line and the JJ`s had a long strike for about 50+ yards. So far so good but this defense doesnt mean s*** unless it continues throughout the playoffs.
