Come playoff time, teams will not necessarily play on their preferred nights. This is the way it has always been, and we warn teams in advance.
Barring any more rainouts, on MON 10/30 we`ll play (2) B+ playin games - 10v7 & 9v8, (4) B playin games - 12v5, 11v6, 10v7, 9v8. Games will be at Greenbriar and Herndon.
Across TUE 10/31, WED 11/1 and THU 11/2, we`ll play 16 quarterfinal games (4-A, 4-B+, 4-B, 4-C). We will try to slot those games on the higher seed`s preferred day(s) wherever possible. Games will be at Greenbriar and Herndon.
MON 11/6 we`ll play 8 semifinal games (probably at Pop Tree Park 1,2,3 as usual that time of year).
TUE 11/7 we`ll play 4 championship games (probably at Pop Tree Park 1,2).
This is tentative, just to give teams an idea of what`s coming. Rainouts on any night will cause schedule adjustments and game day pushbacks.

Tom - Any Chance to Not have Games on Halloween? Like many parents out there I`d like to take my kids Trick or Treating.
I know I would appreciate it, as well as others in the league.

This is always an issue, and in the past we`ve tried to accomodate. Its really the 8PM game slot that the players with trick-or-treating children have issues with - not so much the 9 and 10 slots.
We`ll send out an email in 2 weeks as the season is winding down to see where each team stands re: 10/31 games.
Based on response, maybe we`ll just run 9 & 10 games on TUE and 8,9,10 games WED & THU.

No Games on Halloween Night if Possible.
Can we get more support for this?

It would great to not have any games on Halloween due to kids, But if you can change them to the 9 and 10 that would be great.

I think we`ll add 3 of the C League quarterfinals to the MON 10/30 schedule and use 3 fields (since there are no C playin games the match-ups will be set a week before) - that way we can get away with only teams who want to play TUE having to play TUE.

Once the playoffs start, is there a set bracket (where the #1 team would play the winner of the #8/#9 game) or does it shift each round where the highest seed plays the lowest seed left?
