The Messageboard does not make the league. I am in touch with coaches and teams through email, text, calls and site messaging.
In fact, the messageboard has become more of a detriment than anything else over the past few seasons - thanks to a very vocal 2-3 players/posters.
Other leagues do just fine without a messageboard, and so will we (outside of the game threads which players will still be able to post to, and/or threads started by logged in players).
