05/08 : Wolves and Collision play to a stalemate, 3-3

The tie puts Wolves at 2-5-1, and Collision at 5-1-1 in the late stretch of the season.

These teams are very familiar with one another, having now played 6 times. Their previous contest occured in a Fairfax County Flag Football League "A" regular season game Oct 24 2012, 21:00, which Collision won 28-7. Overall, Wolves is 3-1-2 against Collision.

Gametime temperature was a cool 55 degrees under mostly cloudy skies.

Collision will face off against Triple Crown (6-1) on May 13 2013, 21:00 at Lake Fairfax#1.

it`s so Collision doesn`t have to play the Wolves in the First Round of the playoffs. If they finish as the 3 seed Collision will face Banditos or Primetime instead of Wolves. That, or it was f-ing pouring out yesterday and a sloppy game.

I was at the game. It was not raining. Collision was not trying to throw the game, they were trying to win it. Wolves got 3 picks (none of them easy, all contested), both teams played excellent defense. If Wolves kicker was not out they would have won the game imo. If Collision would have thrown 2 (instead of 3) INTs, they would have won that game imo.

Both teams were looking slim with attendance. But I think collision was missing the tall white guy that usually lines up on the line and the other white lb. Unless they came after we left. Wolves def need a qb tho.

I am sure the wolves will be able to get their qb out during the playoffs.
