In our last game we were called for downfield blocking. The penalty was marked off where the play ended not the spot of the foul. The refs called it both ways and were consistent with their ruling. Just wondering what happens if the play resulted in a TD?
thanks

in addition... if you`re going to mark the penalty from where the play ended, what`s to prevent teams from blocking downfield till the runner gets to the endzone, they have first and goal from the 15 yd line.

As usual, the refs messed up. And as usual -- based on your first post -- the refs messed up consistantly.
The rules are online, but I`m sure the penalty should have been either marked off from the spot, or from the original LOS (with a replay of down in that case).

Come on ya`ll know what happened. After Battiston, Rhinos and the Larry`s conspired to dominate B+ league, they secretly changed the rules to their own advantage. It is all part of the master plan. More to come.

ruling.... The spot of the foul is where enforcement should take place IF behind the end of run. If blocking foul was ahead of the end of run enforcement is from end of run. will post a message to all the officials to make sure we are doing this. sorry for the confusion...

There is a tab on your left side that says "playing rules". I like to read it when I`m on the crapper.
