04/11 : GSS Blazers upend UDR GodFathers 14-6
GSS Blazers improve to 2-2 on the season, while UDR GodFathers drop to 0-2.
Coupled with a win in their previous game, GSS Blazers has now won two in a row.
The loss continues a 2 game skid for UDR GodFathers which now stands at 3 losses in a row.
This was the first meeting between these two teams.
Next up for GSS Blazers is FAH Q (0-2). That game is scheduled for Apr 23 2012, 22:00 at Rolling Valley West#2.

GSS Blazers are a middle of the pack team at this point. AND they just beat a team that was in A. Enough said.

Exactly, Blazers just beat them 14-6. Shows they should have never signed up for A to begin with. Just b/c you sign up for A doesn`t mean your an A team donk.
BTW - they lost by 28 & 35 up in A...lost by 8 in B.

^^^ you may need to try taking some herbal supplements that help boost brain function. GSS Blazers lost 28-7 and 24-7 in their first 2 games. And they still beat UDR Godfathers by 8. That means that a below par B team is about as good as a bad A team. The bottom 50% in A are on about the same level as the top couple of B teams. Fact.

try to justify how good you are, but, point blank, Godfathers got COMPLETELY worked and shut out by two A league teams (although very good ones) and got moved down to B league where they were able to play a competitive game. you can argue all you want but that is an indication of the difference in play of the two leagues. (let alone the fact that no one from B league took the opportunity to move up to A when the opportunity arose last week).

Seems to me like some insecure A league players joined this thread to talk about how much better they are because the Godfathers didn`t get blown out. Poor guys. You A league players are good, don`t worry, everyone knows it, you don`t need to comment on an irrelevant B league post to tell us.

Everyones over thinking it. Obviously UDR was not an "A" team. Yes they signed up for A, and we`re allowed to play 2 games. But as Tom said, they were in over their head.
So they moved to B. What happened? They lost to an average to below average B team. UDR might win a game or two in B league. So UDR is not a team to guage when it comes to comparing A and B.
We all know the top A teams would destroy the bottom B teams. Hell, the bottom A teams would destroy the bottom B teams. And yes there would be some competitive games between the bottom 2-3 A teams and the top 2-3 B teams.
If this was an Open league people would complain, but those same people are saying theres no difference between A and B.

There are 3 divisions for a reason. Obviously there is some crossover at the bottoms and tops, that`s why teams move up and down. Ultimately the play on the field determines where each team should play. Simple.

Badboyz were NEVER a B team, have always played A or Open (only played B playoffs a few times).
You are correct. Penetrators, Banditos, Greyhounds, Outcast, Novacaine, Hokies all played B and moved up...and they have ZERO titles and 1 apperance in the championsip for A.
Any one of the B teams had the opportunity to move up when UDR dropped...no one accepted.

no one accepted...if I remember correctly, Tom said "UDR was in way over its head. I moved them to B. There will be 11 teams in A and 13 in B." That`s not really offering to move a team up to A, so maybe you know something we don`t know.
