Man A league cant we get a team that wants to be the front runner? At least we got one that wants the bottom dweller. Here are your rankings going into Week 6. 12 - Greyhounds (0-4)– Dropped another one…really 0-4, really? Hollywood listen up; if you don’t win vs the Rejects this week, move yourself to WR and let someone else have a shot. Go to craigslist or whatever you need to do to recruit someone to play QB for you guys cause you can’t do it. (Last week #12) 11 – Rejects (1-2) – Got their first W of the season vs the Warriors, but still gonna leave them here for the power rankings because I don’t think they can do it again this season. Sounds like they may have gone out to recruit some bodies so if they can put back 2 back wins on the boards we can move them up, but right now I am not going to look into this first W. They get the Hounds so they should be able to get W number 2 with some ease. (Last Week #11) 10 - Kdaw Warriors (1-3) – The B team that I had some faith in at the beginning gets the biggest drop of the week moving from 7 to 11 after dropping one to the Rejects. I still got them above the Rejects because they still have performed better throughout the season. This week they take on the Pros so another chance for this B leaguer to knock off a top dog. (Last Week # 7) 9 - Bad Boyz (2-1) – Beat up on the Hounds to get their 2nd win of the season. Both W’s are over the #12 and #11 ranked teams so they still have a ways to go to get a little respect in the rankings. They get the Mighty Magnums this week so here is your chance,…good luck. (Last Week #10) 8 – Collision (1-3) – Still doing your co-ed games guys, really? Take my advice..all those pretty co-ed trophies you show off on your little facebook pages are g@y. Guess they are happy this week though because they get a bye to play all the co-ed they can to build up their egos before coming back in 2 weeks to reality. Have fun ladies. (Last Week # 9) 7– Penetrators (1-1) – Damn, I bet you guys are pissed after being cancelled on 2 weeks in a row. Tom, throw these guys a frickin bone already. This week they, hopefully get a shot at the reigning A league champs…cross your fingers cause its scheduled for the grass field….c’mon Tom, move this one to turf so they don’t get screwed for a 3rd week. (Last week #6) 6– Spartans (2-2)- After dropping a game for the 2nd straight week I they are out of the top 5. Yes they were without their starting QB but DO, who plays QB for a semi-pro team, took his spot and couldn’t do crap vs a newb A team. But that does not bother me as much as why their defense couldn’t stop these guys. I thought that was their strong point and now to be unable to stop a offense without much fire power worries me. Next up for them is TC so both teams are coming off a loss and both will need to get a W to get that swag back. (Last Week # 5) 5 – Banditos (3-2) – Wooooooooohoooooo got a W vs the Spartans, these guys must be feeling good with back 2 back marks in the W column. Looks like the robots might have found a game plan that works. They are on a bye week before they can try to make it 3 in a row vs the Rejects. (Last week #8) 4– Magnums (2-1) – Didn’t play this weekend due to the rain out so not much to report. Coming up they see take on the BadBoyz. (Last Week #4) 3 - Triple Crown (3-1) – Frazier goes down for the first time in 2 regular seasons. Pretty good run, but this inst the same team from those seasons and I see them getting a few losses this year because of it. 7pt seemed to have moved the ball with ease vs them and they struggled to move the ball when needed. Hopefully they can dust it off and regroup vs the Spartans this week. (Last Week #1) 2 - 7pt Spread (3-1) – Good way to bounce back after being shut out the previous week. Reports say they scored 3 times with only 10 or so offensive plays vs the powerhouse of the A league. I guess it was a build up from the fat goose egg they laid. They have a possible “trap” game this week vs the Pens who they haven’t seen before. (Last Week #3) 1 – Novacaine (4-1) – Jusssst snuck out with the W vs Collision in what was a sloppy game for both teams. Neither was able to convert when needed and both defenses stepped up. The Pros get the new Warrior Joes this week in what should be their 5th straight W. (Last Week #2)
