Alright, so after the initial week 1 rankings this is how we look going into week 2. 12 - Banditos - Not very competitive vs a top team and if the rumor is true that they don’t have a QB then they will be at the bottom most of the season. Next week vs Kdaw. (Last week #11) 11 - Greyhounds – Just not an overall talented team. Nice guys good players, but no wow and a lack of solid QB hurts these guys because they just can’t get the ball into other playmakers hands as often. Next week they will face the mighty Spartans so Hollywood better be able to get out of the pocket. (Last week #12) 10 - Bad Boyz – Keepin them here until they play next week vs Collision.(Last Week #10) 9 - Rejects - Keepin them here until they play next week vs the Mags. (Last Week #9) 8 - Penetrators – Jumped by 2 others. Maybe move back up if they get a W in week 2 vs Caine. (Last week #6) 7 - Collision – Unable to mount much of an attack on vs a well organized team. I don’t see them having the season they did last fall so this may be tough on the guys that rule the world of co-ed flag. Or maybe they are just getting soft from all that co-ed. We will have to see if they come out flat next week vs BBz (Last Week # 5) 6 - Kdaw Warriors – Good team ball by these guys got them the win and forced a turnover to seal the deal vs Collision. Next week they should have another W vs the wounded Banditos so all you people in denial the new guys should start off 2-0. (Last Week # 7) 5 - Novacaine – Once again they don’t live up to all the hype and drop a game to a new team in what was said to be a pretty sloppy game due to the poor play on both sides. Next week they get the A league newbs, Penetrators, so we will see if the stars come out for this game and lead them to victory. (Last Week #3) 4 - Spartans – With the biggest jump this week the Spartans showed us they can hang with one of the top teams plus their roster appears to be pretty solid with the group they have assembled. Next week they take on the low ranked Greyhounds and should walk away with a W if they are able to make a few plays on offense. I really don’t see anyone on the Hounds that can guard D.O.… (Last Week # 8) 3 - Magnums – Didn’t play but moved up because they are typically pretty solid and only 1 season removed from a championship. They will be taking on the Rejects tough defense but the QB should be able to run around and make something happen as he usually does. (Last Week #4) 2 - Triple Crown – Good showing vs the bottom team as they clearly were toying with the Banditos and not wanting to embarrass them. So even with the losses they took in the offseason they are still championship caliber. They have a bye week for week 2 so all you TC lovers will have to wait another week. (Last Week #2) 1 - 7pt Spread – Holding onto the top spot after an impressive win vs the Hounds. Rumor is they only have a few players returning plus a new QB so maybe they will have a fall from the top, but we will have to wait another week until they take on Banditos. (Last Week #1)
