You should point all the former college athletes playing in this league and Sundays. For instance did you know Dave Ball`s (starting DE with the Titans) twin brother Matt played with the Midgets for a while? He had a cup of joe in the league as well. Or maybe talk about what a great college career that Rob Lane guy had? :)

Yah, just got in tonight and also got an email from him. he must really want to talk to Novacaine.
We have quite few ex-D1/2/3 and ex-pros playing in the league, but most like to keep a low profile.
I guess this means everyone better register on day one for the Spring ;)

Just talked to Dan, I was hyping the league hard. He couldn`t understand how we were 4-5 with some of those dudes we had, and I just tried to explain the competition was that good. He seemed intrigued, said he would contact Tom tomorrow and prob put a piece in on us in Thursdays paper so keep an eye out.

Swami I made sure to explain that Novacaine was spelled with an A to represent the NOVA area we live in, play on words. He didn`t get as caught up on it as you do. I didn`t plug Syntax only because the opportunity didn`t really present itself, but I have other plans to get exposure for that so I`m not worried.
Maybe Macho can cut me a % of that deal he got...

I only do it cause it`s fun. I just can`t see past the irony of a guy named Dumbells spelling his own team name wrong, even if it was on purpose :)

LOL glad to see my tweet to a beat reporter took the league to national notoriety. Maybe now we can keep states up here in NOVA. By the way here`s how it started:
"granthpaulsen: Macho Harris has been working out locally since he was but by the #Eagles at start of season. Has also worked out for DET, STL, TEN, and NO."
"robertlane99: @granthpaulsen he has also been playing in a Fairfax County Flag Football League for the last month or two."
FCFFL becoming a better minor league than the UFL haha

haha yeah 1 game...in the post its on page 2 of the sports section..."Fairfax Flag Football Revives Pros Career" or something like that...1 game revival! No one thinks "were gonna be on sports center" but how many flag football leagues can say they`ve been on page 2 of the sports section of a major newspaper on Thanksgiving?
Better yet how many 4-5 teams who finished 7th get mentioned in the post? haha

guess you need to change your name to.. novocaines!! haha
"Harris had many high school friends in the league, and being a bit at odds after his release, turned observation into participation in a hurry. Contact is allowed at the line of scrimmage, which separates it from some other types of flag football, and Harris was able to star on both sides of the line with a game-winning touchdown catch for his team, the Novocaine.
