Okay so very meaningful games tonight to determine who is in for that final 8th seed and also what the seeding and matchups are for A League Playoffs. Here`s the possibilities for the 8th seed:
Sharks: Win vs. Magnums and win vs. Rejects and they are in. Lose vs. Magnums and win vs. Rejects and they are in. Win vs. Magnums but lose to Rejects then we have a 3 way tie and it will come down to point differential in games played between Chaos/Sharks/Rejects. Sharks are currently at +5, Chaos is at +5, and rejects are at -10 so if sharks beat Magnums and lose to Rejects then they are essentially out because they would drop to at least -4. Lose vs. Magnums and Lose vs. Rejects and they are out. Sharks COULD tie both games and they would make the playoffs. Bottom line it comes down to Sharks vs. Rejects. Magnums game almost meaningless.
Rejects: They have to hope for sharks to beat Magnums and then Rejects have to beat sharks by 16pts.
Chaos: They make the playoffs if Sharks lose both games or if sharks win vs. Magnums but lose to Rejects by less than 16pts.

For the other games here is the breakdown of each scenario:
If Magnums win and 7pt Spread wins:
1) TC
2) Magnums (mags and collision have same win % but mags get head-to-head)
3) Collision
4) Wolves
5) Badboyz
6) 7pt Spread
7) Novacaine
8) Chaos/Sharks/Rejects

what does everyone think will happen tonight??
I`m going with Sharks winning both. 1) they have the magnums number. magnums have never beaten them. 2) with playoff chances on the line and the fact that chuck has said this is the last time sharks will play together I think they will have all their ringers make the games.
Also think novacaine destroys 7pt spread.
