10/13 : Banditos shut out The Union 20-0
Banditos improve to 4-2 on the season, while The Union drops to 5-1.
This is the third time Banditos shutout an opponent this season. The victory continues a 2 game winning streak for Banditos which now stands at 3 wins in a row.
This is the first time The Union failed to score against an opponent this season. The loss ends a 5 game winning streak for The Union.
This was the first meeting between these two teams.
Next up for Banditos is The Situation (4-1). That game is scheduled for Oct 20 2010, 21:00 at Lake Fairfax#1.
The Union will face off against CCR NOVAs (2-2) on Oct 20 2010, 22:00 at Lake Fairfax#1.

We were missing alot of people. Had 9 people at the beginning of the game one being a kicker that only kicks. Good game to Banditos but I hope we meet again with full squads. Good luck the rest of the season. Stay healthy.

no excuses here. no matter who is on the field we have to execute and work who we got with on both sides of the ball. banditos scored on two 3 long plays and capitalized on our mistakes. yes we were missing just about all our WR`s due to injuries, but we still missed a ton of flags on defense. Good game to the banditos, we will see you again.

Good game Union. We were able to capitalize on some mistakes, but like you, we were missing some players and definitely left some plays out there, but like Cruz said, you play with who you have and hope for the best sometimes. We scored first and then threw a pick in the end zone before halftime. We were up 14-0 most of the game and were able to stop a few drives before we got a long TD towards the end of the game for the final score.
We were able to get the W this time, but I know you guys will bring it if we meet in the playoffs. Good luck the rest of the season.

didn`t seem to affect him for the first 5 wins...did he get hurt playing dodge ball this past week? Unless his dodgeball season just started, then I guess it makes sense. Though, with that said, it`s not like he`s the only player participating in multiple sports leagues during the week. not trying give you a hard time here, just a little curious

how good the Situation are in the last two weeks of the season when they face 3rd place Banditos (4-2, both losses on last second field goals) and then the 1st place Union squad (5-1, only loss to the Banditos). If they can hang with or beat those two then they will definitely be the team to beat.
