Ahhhh, back in my comfort zone. I am getting worked on the Sunday League and I don`t mean that in the usual Sir Chuckie`s `good` way. I`m not luvin` big wagers on meaningless games. I might as well bet on preseason baseball....oh snap, I do. After the TC-7 PT game last week, this go-round feels like watching the Nets/Clippers after a Lakers/Suns game. Let me find nary one meaningful game in the Union tug of war with the PupHounds. Gimme a grand on Union to win and cover. I`m still dragging from the LeBron meltdown so forgive my indifference. C`mon `King`! Beat by the Celts? Except for Rondo, those guys are all old enough to be yer Daddy--no, Shawn Kemp is not on the roster. But sources say they`re adding Bill Russell to help on SuperHoward. Sir Chuck has to re-group and figger out how this shakes out. Yes, I placed a Preakness bet. A Big Loooooser. Turrible. I am chasing this week. I took a small break from the tables last night to check out the Draft Lottery and when that Russian dude from the Nets didn`t get the 1st pick he really scurred me. Thought he might go all Cold War on poor Irene and the squirrely Deputy Commish. Way to go Irene with that lucky old Abe ring and gorgeous yellow number you sported. She looked like she just saw the Chuckster stroll naked out the shower when they pulled the Wiz card. Wall to the Zards. Surround him with Yours Truly and 3 more of my former teammates and you`ve got the Celtics. Turrible. Speaking of old, I`m taking a look at those CCR guys tonight and I`m not sure they have a Celtic-type run left in them. The PuppyHounds dogged me and covered vs Union Monday so I`ll jump on the dogsled and count on Noodle and the Litter to go all athletic on the Novas and cover to make the A playoffs for the 1st round ouster they will be greeted with. A stack on the Pups. And while the Chaos/Mags game intrigues me, there`s too much nut-scrubbing going on with the proud Non-Anon`s on the Mboard to get a feel for any killer instinct with these teams. I like the Mags to win but nobody really cares what I think and I ain`t bettin` on it so I don`t care. Collision needs to care. Swami the Comic got Mr. Gump and the Shrimp Boat Gang all fired up with his politically incorrect humor/analysis and I think they make a statement vs the hapless Ethertons. 2 grand on Collision though last time I thought Locs had some inside intel on a game I was r...r...r...wrong. The Orlando Superman better expel himself from the Shaq School of Free Throw Shooting or this hack-a-Howard series is over in 4. You mean I gotta look forward to Kobe playing against the Over-30 AllStar Team in the Finals? Turrible again. Ernie?
