We’ve played against some really good QBs but most of us from TC believe that Jamar (Firm’s QB) is the best that we’ve ever faced. He may arguably the best in our style of play in the state. He’s not going to make many mistakes and he uses the clock very well. They’ll throw many looks your way. He’ll go traditional, spread, two backs and one back. In goal line situations, he likes to go with two backs and run the option, the other back (not involved in the option) will go through the line of scrimmage and Jamar will look for him for a pass if the option is contained. Have your lineman chip that other back coming through the line of scrimmage. If they line up with one back, look for the center to release. Also if he notices that you can’t contain the edges, he will run delay QB sweeps all day. They won their first game with Jamar just running left and right on the edges. Your middle rush has to be a controlled rush if you shoot one of the middle gaps to hard, he’ll just step up in the other open middle gap and take off. Defensively, I didn’t see anything that you wouldn’t see in our league.
