the reason they probably waited til the last minute was because they were trying to figure out a way to field a team. if you forfeit at 2pm you really arent trying that hard. by about 6 you realize you exhausted every available option and say F it. perhaps there should be some sort of team/coaches contact page so if one team does in fact forfeit they can make the necessary phone call, or place a call to Tom to verify authenticity. having your opponent forfeit sucks, missing out one a game sucks, and driving to a field and finding the game has been called sucks, but its just a part of Rec sports
