Craziness all over the map this week. On Monday I predicted the Novas to edge the Sharks and the Rhinos to lose 2 lopsided games. The Novas went into reverse and the Rhinos went fast forward. Go figure. What have we learned so far about division I this season? Sharks and My Plumber are about the only safe bets to play consistantly enough to win week in and week out. Larrys play on one week and off the next like clockwork. Lazy Sundae is 3-1 but how solid is that 3-1 with a +1 point differential and when you barely beat teams you should whip up on? Novas and Rhinos do not bring their "A" game every week. Kerns was a preseason favorite to win it all, but is not playing like it and at this rate will get either My Plumber or Sharks in the first round of the playoffs. Vienna Ballers appear to be the better of the 2 new teams, but we`ll find out for sure tonight.
Lazy Sundae/Larrys
After losing a close game to My Plumber in week 1, then getting blown out by the Rhinos, then beating the Novas, then getting blown out by the Lions, then beating Kerns, its now a Larrys blowout "off week" so expect Lazy Sundae to pull this one out on the position matchups, even with their QB out injured (still?) by simply playing mistake free ball. 24-7 Lazy Sundae.
Lions/Vienna Ballers
The Lions 3 losses were all by 7 or less points and were all to teams now ranked in the upper half of the division. The Lions should record a shutout here, and all they have to do to win is score once. They`ll score twice. 14-0 Lions.
Vienna Ballers/Coyotes
This is a big game for both teams. The loser has no shot at making the playoffs. The winner does. The Coyote offense is slightly better than the Ballers, but there is no defensive comparison. The Ballers defense has kept them in game, and the Coyote defense is swiss cheese. Look for the Ballers to have their biggest night of offense on the season and take this one 24-7.
