Just depends on the athletes you have on your team. I like the spread 4 wr, 3 ol.

Depends on what type of players you have. If you have a team full of receivers and or few QB`s, it`s good to run the spread.
Diesel, TC, and DMob are the only teams I think that runs the spread. It seems to be pretty effective for them.
The Wolves a semi-traditional O. Their linemen are lined up further back then usual. Pretty unorthodox but it works for them.
You have teams like the Sharks and Badboys with big athletic guys who can block. Although their QB`s are mobile, their line gives their QB enough time to pick the D part.

I`m more of a fan of a traditional O with an O-Line to give a QB time, but i guess it does depend on your athletes. I don`t even know how Id go about playing D against a superspread.

I think the best offense can change into any of these listed when necessary. I know this is a political answer but I hate the offenses where the team has a playbook on the field and can`t adapt to take advantage of the defense they`re playing against.

Playbook?

What if a team has a playbook with several different types of offfensive formations and plays then isn`t that adapting to a defense?

depends on several factors. the skill set of your players, and more importantly your qb. how much practice time you have. and your ability to react to what the defense is doing.
