We drove the the E.C . field. Stars were out and the lights to the softball field were on. 15 minutes before game time , the rain line was updated and the games were postponed. What is wrong ? We play in downpours last week and can`t get a decision before we drive all the way to the fields. A courtesy call to the coaches or an early cancellation would be nice , but this is happening too much. We all know you are very busy and are trying to keep up with two leagues , but tonight the games should have been played and if a league rep was at the fields to make a game time decision , we would have played. There were guys from two teams there wondering what was happening and other guys on the way and we did not get postponed til the last minute. The refs were not there , so they must have been notified early. We were a little disappointed and thought you should know that the weather cleared and it turned out to be a nice evening .... except fot no football.
