We`re four weeks into the 2008 Fall season and already we`re seeing some teams scrambling to hang on while others are separating from the pack. The Good: The Sharks are continuing there winning ways with a 24-8 win over the struggling Coyotes. This right after a forfeit victory over the wolves have some saying "Are they really that good, or have they yet to be tested. The Nova`s took a step back in a thrilling loss to Triple crown 28-14. There`s a bonfire at the top of the A league standings and the top three teams are bringing plenty of wood. The Rejects and Chaos have solidified there positions at the top of the B+ division and look for their October 22nd meeting to be an all out battle for the top spot. The Banditos are continuing there winning ways with a 34-7 stomping of the hapless Mercenaries. They may not get much respect on the message boards but they`re certainly getting the Job done. Don`t award them the trophy just yet though as the Hawks are also undefeated and are fresh off a 31-0 pasting of the Raw Dogs. 5 Year Plan undefeated and all alone at the top of C league with 3 other teams nipping at their heals with one loss a piece. The Bad: There are 4 teams in A with only 1 victory so far, good thing they all make the playoffs. The Chuds are the biggest Duds in B+ which suprises some after their strong showing in B last fall. Seems that they have more excuses than talent so far this season. So far this season Dunyah has scored 12 points while giving up 157 and they`re still licking their wounds after a 0-58 shelacking from the 2-2 (we only bleed once a month) VA JJ`s. There`s a whole lot of sludge at the bottom of the C league with the Enforcers kneck deep in the muck. Their taking a pounding on the field and the message boards for the allegid dirty play and their questionable sense of fashion. BACK TO YOU COTTON!
