Does the roster lock apply to everyone (including people who have not played in the league yet) or just people that have played on other teams and have switched?

In other words, if we have someone who won`t be joining our team until Week 5 (and hasn`t played on another team), do we have to have him on our roster by Week 3?

;	yes you do have to have them on your roster before the lock on week 3. u can have 6 people not joining your team until week 5 or playoffs if you make them, long as there on the roster before it`s locked. lot`s of teams have guys on the roster that don`t play at all during the regular season but join the team if there in the playoffs. it`s basically another way to have ringers.
